Privacy by design

Your unpublished research stays yours

A manuscript under review is confidential. JournalFit is built so that nobody else — not other users, not us — can read, keep or reuse it.

  1. Sent encryptedYour file travels over HTTPS to our server.
  2. Formatted by softwareNo person opens, reads or checks it.
  3. Original deleted at onceYour upload is removed as soon as the formatted copy is ready.
  4. Result for you onlyThe download works only when you are signed in to your account.
  5. Gone within 60 minutesEvery file is erased automatically — or right away, with one click.

Not even our admins

Site administrators see only the file name and the format chosen — never the paper itself. They cannot download your results.

Never used to train AI

Papers are formatted by JournalFit's own engine, not sent to an AI service. Nothing you upload is used to train any model.

Never shared or sold

No advertising, no data brokers, no copies kept for later. Your paper is used for one thing: the formatting you asked for.

Kept apart

Each paper is processed in its own sealed folder by a separate worker with a time limit. LaTeX is compiled with system commands switched off.

LaTeX

Move a LaTeX paper to another journal in one step

Rejected from one journal, submitting to the next? Upload the project you already have. JournalFit rewrites it in the new journal's own LaTeX template, keeps your content as it is, and compiles it for you.

  1. 1

    Upload the project

A single .tex file, or the whole project as a .zip (Overleaf: Menu › Download › Source). Files pulled in with \input, figures, .bib files and your own .sty files all come along.

    Written for any class: elsarticlecas-dcIEEEtranllncssn-jnlsvjour3mdpiacmartrevtex4-2amsartapa7article

  2. 2

    JournalFit rewrites the front matter

Title, authors, affiliations, emails, abstract and keywords move into the new template's own commands. The class, bibliography style and layout change; your text, equations, figures, tables and citations do not.

  3. 3

    Download, compile, submit

You get a ready-to-compile project with the publisher's class files inside, plus the compiled PDF. Upload the .zip to Overleaf or open it on your computer — or ask for a Word file instead.

Same paper, different journals:

  • Equations, with \label and \ref
  • Figures, sub-figures and tables
  • Theorems, proofs and algorithms
  • Citations: \cite, \citep, \citet
  • Your own macros and .sty files

Changed to the journal's style

  • Document class and title block
  • Reference list, using the journal's .bst
  • Fonts, margins, columns and headings

What you download

  • my-paper_springer-nature_latex.zip
    • main.tex your paper in the new template
    • main.pdf compiled for you
    • sn-jnl.cls, sn-mathphys-num.bst the publisher's own files
    • refs.bib your references, untouched
    • figures/ your images
    • README.txt how to compile, what to check

47 formats use the publisher's official LaTeX template

Choose one to start. The other formats get a clean LaTeX layout built from the journal's author guidelines.

.tex, .zip, .tar.gz — up to the server's upload limit.

And 300+ document templates

Theses, CVs, letters, invoices, contracts, minutes, certificates and more — filled with AI from your own text, or with a short form.

Supported formats

Built from each publisher's author guidelines. You can also download any format as an empty Word template to write in from the start.

Journal not listed? Upload its template in step 2 — any Word template works.

What happens to your paper

JournalFit reads the structure of your manuscript, then rebuilds it inside the journal's template.

  1. It finds the parts

Title, authors and affiliations, abstract and keywords (in English and Arabic), headings, body text, lists, figures, tables, equations, footnotes and references — even when you formatted them by hand.

  2. It reads the template

Page size, margins, columns, headers and the style for every part. For uploaded templates it matches the journal's own styles and learns formatting typed into the sample text.

  3. It rebuilds the paper

Your content is poured into the template: one-column title block over a two-column body where needed, numbered headings, scaled images, consistent tables and captions, right-to-left Arabic.

  4. You check and submit

You get an editable Word file and a short list of things to check, such as a missing keywords line. Citation and reference styles are kept as you wrote them.

Questions

Does it change my reference style?

No. References are laid out in the journal's reference paragraph style, but the citation style (APA, IEEE, Vancouver…) is kept as you wrote it. Use your reference manager to switch styles before uploading.

Are my files kept?

Your files are processed on our server and deleted automatically within an hour. Your account keeps only a list of what you formatted (file names and formats). Nothing is shared or used for any other purpose. See the privacy policy.

My journal isn't in the list.

Download the Word template from the journal's author guidelines page and upload it in step 2. JournalFit works with any Word template.

Does it support Arabic papers?

Yes. Arabic paragraphs are set right-to-left, bilingual abstracts are recognised, and there is a dedicated Arabic journal format.

What about LaTeX?

Upload the .tex file or the project .zip (in Overleaf: Menu › Download › Source). JournalFit reads papers written for any class — Elsevier, IEEE, Springer, ACM, MDPI, APS and more — and gives you back a LaTeX project in the new journal's format, compiled to PDF, or a Word file.

Which LaTeX classes can I upload?

Papers written for elsarticle and CAS, IEEEtran, llncs, svjour3, sn-jnl, acmart, revtex, MDPI, amsart, apa7, authblk and plain article — and most others, because JournalFit reads the standard \title, \author and abstract commands too. Multi-file projects with \input or \include are joined automatically.

Do I need LaTeX on my computer?

No. The project is compiled on the server and you get the PDF. To keep editing, upload the .zip to Overleaf — it already contains the publisher's class files.

What happens to my references in LaTeX?

If you use a .bib file, the reference list is rebuilt with the new journal's bibliography style. A reference list typed by hand (thebibliography) is kept as it is.

Is the result ready to submit?

It is close. Always open the file, read the checklist and look over figures and tables before submitting — journals also check things no tool can, such as word limits.
